Terms of use

Article 5 of Romanian Law 365/2002 on electronic commerce requires a service provider to publish the following, in a form that is permanently and directly accessible.

These terms apply to your use of this website. By using it you accept them.

They do not govern any work we do for a client. That is covered by a separate written contract signed by both sides, which carries its own scope, payment terms, intellectual property assignment, confidentiality and data processing terms. Where these terms and a signed contract disagree, the signed contract wins.

We keep these pages current and correct, and the registration details above are taken from the Romanian trade register. Even so, nothing published on this site is an offer capable of acceptance under Article 1188 of the Romanian Civil Code.

Prices, timescales and scope become binding only in a written proposal addressed to you by name. Timescales described on the services and approach pages are typical, drawn from how we usually work. They are a description, not a guarantee about a project nobody has scoped yet.

You may read this site, print it, quote it with attribution, and link to it from anywhere. The following are not permitted.

We give no uptime commitment for this website. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, including for maintenance, and we are not obliged to give notice.

An uptime commitment for something we build and run for you is a matter for the contract that covers that work, where it is written as a number with a remedy attached.

The text, design, code and structure of this site belong to B&C ASSOCIATES S.R.L. unless stated otherwise, and are protected by Romanian Law 8/1996 on copyright and related rights, and by the equivalent law of the country you read it in.

The typefaces used here are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. Open source components carry their own licences, which travel with them.

Third-party names, marks and product names mentioned on this site belong to their owners. We use them only to describe what we work with, and their appearance here implies no endorsement in either direction.

Where we link to another site we do not control what it publishes, and we are not responsible for its content, its accuracy or its handling of your data. A link is a reference, not a recommendation.

We provide this site as it is and as available. To the fullest extent Romanian law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, and for loss arising from reliance on anything published here rather than on a written proposal.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and any liability a consumer has under mandatory consumer protection law.

We may change these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues in force. Where the law allows it, the severed provision is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to what it was for.

Romanian law governs these terms and any dispute arising from them, including non-contractual disputes.

The courts of Timiș County, Romania, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country under Regulation (EC) 593/2008, nor of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012.

Complaints come to admin@bcass.net first, and we would rather answer one than receive a claim. The European Commission online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so there is no longer a link to give you.
